Biography

Dr. Lim Abla Kwawukume is a distinguished Physician Specialist and Pulmonology Fellow at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Ghana, with expertise in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Care, and Medical Education. A holder of MBChB, MPhil in Physiology, and memberships in the Ghana and West African Colleges of Physicians, she blends clinical excellence with academic rigor. Her career spans 12+ years across tertiary hospitals, community health, and research, focusing on pulmonary diseases, patient advocacy, and capacity building.

As a clinician-educator, she supervises medical teams, lectures at the University of Ghana Medical School, and mentors students in evidence-based practice. Her research on angiogenic factors in preeclampsia (MPhil) and antibiotic use patterns underscores her commitment to translational medicine. Currently training in pulmonology, she performs advanced pulmonary function tests and manages complex respiratory cases.
